Privacy Policy

Gestura does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. It has no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party services, and it makes no network requests of any kind. Everything the app does happens on your iPhone.

Camera

Gestura uses your iPhone's front camera to recognize hand gestures so you can control playback without touching the screen.

On-device only. Every frame the camera captures is processed entirely on your iPhone — by Apple's Vision framework for hand detection and an on-device Core ML model for gesture classification. No video data is sent to a server, uploaded, or shared.

Nothing is recorded. Frames are analyzed in memory and immediately discarded. Gestura does not save photos, video, or any visual data to disk or to your Photo Library.

The camera turns on only when needed. It runs only while the Gestura tab is on screen and gesture control is enabled in Settings. Leaving the tab, sending the app to the background, or turning gesture control off stops the camera immediately.

Gesture control is optional. If you decline camera access, or turn gesture control off, Gestura works as an ordinary music player.

Your music library

Gestura asks permission to read your device's media library so it can list and play your songs. It reads titles, artists, albums, genres, artwork, and playback details for the music already on your iPhone.

This information is used only to display and play your library inside the app. It is never uploaded, shared, or sent anywhere.

Information stored on your device

Gestura saves a small amount of data locally so the app remembers what you were doing:

• Favorites and recently played songs
• Playlists you create
• Your settings, such as gesture sensitivity, repeat mode, and whether gesture control, the detection chime, and haptics are enabled

All of it stays on your iPhone and is removed when you delete the app.

What Gestura does not do

• No data is collected about you or your use of the app
• No tracking, advertising identifiers, or analytics
• No accounts, sign-in, or personal details are requested
• No data is shared with, or sold to, anyone
• No network requests are made — the app functions entirely offline

Children

Gestura does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
